Fall arrives and so do the many colors along the way to a white Winter. It’s prime film season, especially for Spring festivals. The weather is just right (perfect for pants!), the days are just the right length, and dawn and dusk are brilliant and beautiful. And not to mention the foliage, which makes an excellent backdrop for a road trip… Okay maybe not a road trip, but a trip nonetheless…

I haven’t used too much color correction since picking up the 7D. Even though I shoot with flat contrast, low saturation, et cetera, the image I capture is more often than not perfect as far as coloring goes. Whether it’s a stylized or realistic color grade, the original is more often more desirable than crushing anything out or saturating anything in. Just a thought.
